MYSTIQUE
Reach beyond the walls
About
Welcome to Mystique, the newest sensation located in South Brunswick. Mystery movies and Sherlock Holmes become a thing of the past, and you are instead given the chance to be Holmes himself. In a never before seen idea, you are given case files and a brief overview of a case, and then you are thrown directly into the case itself. Set in a realistic house with actors as suspects, you must navigate your way around the house, questioning people and discovering secrets the house may contain. Your case files are a great help, as they provide information about the suspects themselves, and some background information that may be needed to get to the bottom of the conundrum. Answers lurk in the darkness, people may be lying to you, and the answer is almost never too obvious. Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery?
How does it work?
The case department at Mystique has spent over two years analyzing intricate and famous real life mystery cases. Using the research we find, we create a case with fake names and slightly change the plots to ensure the surprise of the customer. Although some cases are 100% fabricated by Mystique, the realness of most cases adds to the intense and dark mood of the business. For each case, case files are made, containing the reports of all suspects involved, a brief overview of the mystery itself, and in few occasions small extras that may also help an individual in the house. Our actors are professionally trained and come from respectable backgrounds, and have spent a very long time memorizing the facts of each case they happen to be involved in, so there is absolutely no confusion within a case session. Cases range from very simple to extremely difficult, allowing for a range of individuals to participate in the fun. Case sessions run in groups of 10, running on a first come first served basis, and reservations can be made in advance at a specific time slot by phone call. Each session lasts a maximum of 60 minutes, with the end of the hour resulting in failure to solve the mystery. With over 100 cases and new mysteries being developed and thought of daily, the suspense never stops at Mystique.
